The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan begins the first audit measures of 2007, Trend reports with reference to the Chamber.
From 15 January, the Chamber will begin audit over the payment of State duties in the notary offices, over the use of the finances allocated from the State Budget as part of Expenses on Education in the State University of Languages, as well as over finances allocated for restoration of the heat supply system of Baku.
The Accounting Chamber has been created by the Parliament of Azerbaijan on the basis of the Article 92 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan and began its activities from 7 December, 2001.
It comprises of the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and 7 auditors. The authority period of the members of the Chamber is 7 years.
