Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 May / Trend / From January to April 2008, 86.5mln barresl oil was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan running via Turkey, the Turkish company Botas announced.
A total of 19.8mln barrels oil was transported via the BTC through the territory of Turkey in January, 22.4mln barrels in February, 21.6mln in March and 22.6mln in April.
This is the largest volume as compared to other pipelines, running via the territory of Turkey.
From January to April, 43.2mln barrels oil was transported via the Iraq-Turkey, 6.2mln barrels oil via the Ceyhan-Kirikkale, 3.2mln barrels oil via the Batman-Dertoil. Oil was not pumped into the Selmo-Batman pipeline.
In 2007, the total volume of oil transported via the BTC via the territory of Turkey comprised 210.3mln barrel. Last year, 39.8mln barrels oil was transported via the Iraq-Turkey pipeline, 23mln barrels oil via the Ceyhan-Kirikkale pipeline, 10.1mln barrels oil via the Batman-Dertoil and 507,000 barrels oil via the Selmo-Batman pipeline.
