Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 November / Trend / In Jan-Aug 2008, the United States had imported 308,000 barrels of oil products from Azerbaijan. The oil product import in the mentioned period in 2007 totaled 919,000 barrels, the state-run Energy Information Agency (EIA) reported.
Totally 2.2mln barrels of oil products were imported from Azerbaijan to the U.S. in 2007 against 351,000 barrels in 2006.
In 2005, the U.S. purchased 563,000 barrels of Azerbaijani oil products and 484,000 barrels in 2004.
