SOCAR plans to open 30 filling stations in Ukraine in late 2011, Elchin Mammadov, the head of the company in Ukraine, said.
"During 2011 we plan to open 30 filling stations," Mammadov told media during the eighth meeting of the intergovernmental Ukrainian-Azerbaijani commission for economic cooperation.
SOCAR's filling station will appear in Nikolayev and Odessa regions of Ukraine next months.
"Our filling station operates in Odessa. SOCAR's filling station will be opened in Kiev", Mammadov said.
He said that a network of filling stations is created by buying existing or building new filling stations.
SOCAR has a network of about 50 filling stations in Georgia and began to create a network of filling stations in Azerbaijan.
