The strong growth of oil production in non-OPEC countries will continue throughout 2013, Global Energy Studies Centre (CGES) analysts believe.

The analysts expect that oil production will increase by 600,000 barrels per day (bpd) in North America in 2013.

"Former Soviet Union (FSU) states' output is also likely to grow, with Russia consolidating its recent output gains, Kazakhstan at last seeing first oil from the giant Kashagan project and Azerbaijan's output stable at last year's level," CGES analysts' report said.

Analysts predict Asian and African production to be growing too.

The CGES predicts total non-OPEC oil production to increase by 1.3 million bpd in 2013 compared with last year.

According to OPEC's latest oil market report, non-OPEC oil supply will increase by 0.93 million bpd and average 53.92 billion bpd in 2013.

According to OPEC forecasts, oil production in the U.S. is projected at 17.23 million bpd in 2013 compared to 16.62 mln bpd in 2012. The FSU states, according to the forecasts, will supply 13.41 million bpd in 2013 or 0.1 million bpd more than in 2012.

OPEC expects Middle East oil supply to decline by 0.02 million bpd to 1.5 mln bpd in 2013.
