Albanian Gas Service Company JSC, a joint venture that was created between Albanian gas transmission operator Albgaz Sh.a and Italian Snam Spa for maintenance services for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) on the territory of Albania will rent a building in the town of Çorovoda, Albania, Trend reports citing Albgaz.
Duration of the lease is 3 years.
Lease documents can be obtained from the Albanian Gas Service Company JSC offices and also on albgaz.al.
Deadline for submission of bids: 06. 08.2019, 16:00.
Competition procedure venue: Albanian Gas Service Company JSC.
Bids shall be submitted by interested parties in hard copy, by post or by hand, at the place and time specified in the lease documents.

On 14 November 2018, Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) signed a Letter of Intent, marking the final stages of negotiation of the Maintenance Agreement talks between TAP and Albgaz Sh.a and Snam S.p.a.
TAP project, worth 4.5 billion euros, is one of the priority energy projects for the European Union (EU). The project envisages transportation of gas from Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz Stage 2 to the EU countries.
Connecting with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Greek-Turkish border, TAP will cross Northern Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea before coming ashore in Southern Italy to connect to the Italian natural gas network.
The project is currently in its construction phase, which started in 2016.
Once built, TAP will offer a direct and cost-effective transportation route opening up the vital Southern Gas Corridor, a 3,500-kilometer long gas value chain stretching from the Caspian Sea to Europe.
TAP shareholders include BP (20 percent), SOCAR (20 percent), Snam S.p.A. (20 percent), Fluxys (19 percent), Enagás (16 percent) and Axpo (5 percent).
