More than 431 million kilowatt-hours of electricity was generated by the Qom Thermal Power Plant (TPP) in Iran’s Qom Province in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 21-July 21, 2020), Trend reports referring to Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, this figure is 18 million kilowatt-hours more than in the same month last Iranian year, 4 million kilowatt-hours more than in the preceding month last year.
The previous record was set at Qom TPP in the same month preceding Iranian year (427 million kilowatt-hours), the report said.
"About 422 million kilowatt-hours of this electricity have been delivered to Iran's electricity network," the report added.
The Qom Thermal Power Plant has 4 gas units, each produce 128.5 megawatts of electricity, and 2 steam units, each produce 100 megawatts of electricity.
