The gas pumping units at the Pomik field of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department were completely repaired which led to the increase of the gas pumping volumes, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC
According to the information, the oil and gas production departments of Uzbekneftegaz JSC carried out a number of measures to increase natural gas production.
It was noted that the plan for the production of natural gas of Uzbekneftegaz JSC amounts to 2,264 million cubic meters, and 2,284.9 million cubic meters of natural gas were produced as of January 25, overfulffilling the plan by 0.9 percent.
It is reported that one of the locomotive enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC is the Mubarek oil and gas production department, which employs more than 3,650 people.
It is noted that the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Administration has 43 oil and gas fields, six integrated gas treatment units and five primary gas treatment units, 13 compressor stations, and produces 45 million cubic meters of natural gas, 860 tons of gas condensate and 321 tons of oil per day.
Thus, a number of works are underway in order to ensure the sustainability of natural gas production in the Mubarek region.
In particular, construction and installation work was carried out for the piston sending and receiving unit in order to clean up process liquids from a natural gas pipeline the Somontepa field to the Urtabulok field.
As a result of cleaning process fluids that accumulate in pipelines in large quantities, it was possible to increase the production of natural gas and ensure the smooth operation of gas pumping units.
In addition, the AI-336-2-8 engine was stopped due to a breakdown of the compressor section blades at the Zevarda compressor station on the GPA-300 unit. As a result of operational decisions, the repaired GTE was installed and put into operation in a short time, thus the gas supply was reduced and gas leakage was prevented.
As a result of the measures implemented, natural gas production in the Mubarek oil and gas production department as of January,25 amounted to 1,125 million cubic meters. Thus, the plan was fully fulfilled.
Uzbekneftegaz noted that work is being carried out at an accelerated pace at new compressor stations at the Alan, Zevarda and Denizkul fields in order to increase the volume of natural gas production in 2021 to ensure the sustainability of production at the fields, construction and installation.
