Shahin Ismayilov, Director General of Azneft, informed Trend that presently, SOCAR daily gas production rate reaches 15,6 mln. cubic meters of gas. This figure is by 43% more versus the corresponding one at the beginning of the year. 10,5 mln. cubic meters of gas fall at Gunashli field.
To increase the gas production, a number of measures have been taken. 3 projects on the extension of 300-mm gas pipeline from Gunashli-4 platform to deposit Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) have been carried out. That has enabled to pipe up to 2,5 mln. cubic meters of gas of a high pressure.
In result of the geological and technical measures taken at 9 wells, the average daily gas production has increased from 0,5 mln. cubic meters of gas up to 3 mln. cubic meters.
According to a program prepared by SOCAR, 21 wells are scheduled to be drilled on Gunashli field till 2010. Particularly, the extension of foundations #11 and #19 and drilling high-production wells from them. All the measures will significantly increase gas production on Gunashli till 2015.
