Trend N.Abdullayeva / At the meeting with his Azerbaijani colleagues in Baku, the Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus, Nikolai Strugov, will discuss the prospects of co-operation in the sphere of communications and information technologies between Azerbaijan and Belarus, the Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Nikolai Patskevich, told Trend on 11 November.
Prospects of co-operation will be discussed within participation in the 14th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies BakuTel-2008 Exhibition which takes place on 11-14 November in Baku.
Strugov is supposed to take part at the regional meeting of the ministers on the theme "Trans-Eurasian high-speed information highway" will take place within the exhibition, Patskevich said.
"Plan of measures will be signed between Azerbaijan and Belarus during the meeting," Strugov said.
The meeting which will take place on 13 November will also be attended by the energy ministers of Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia, Poland and other several countries.
The exhibition is attended by more than 105 companies which present the final achievements of ICT.
The exhibition has been held since 1995 annually.
