In October 2019, the share of the Android mobile operating system (OS) in the Azerbaijani mobile operating system market amounted to 88.07 percent, having increased by 1.26 percent for the month, Trend reports Nov. 2 referring to the Statcounter’s GlobalStats report.
Apple’s iOS operating system ranks second, with its market share having decreased by 1.31 percent during the reporting period, reaching 10.31 percent.
Windows operating system from Microsoft ranks third, its market share having been growing by 0.25 percent for the month, to 0.49 percent.
The following mobile operating systems are less popular in the country: Series 40 (0.29 percent), Samsung (0.26 percent), Nokia - 0.15 percent, Symbian OS - 0.08 percent, BlackBerry OS - 0.03 percent.
