Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / Azerbaijan attends the 8th strategic 'Postal Three 2007' forum, organized by the 'Russian Postal' through the assistance of the Russian Communication and Information Technologies and the Saint-Petersburg Administration from the 19th to the 21st of June.
The Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technologies Ministry reported on the 19th of June that Novruz Mammadov , the head of Postal sector of the Ministry, would attend the event.
The forum will hold work on the following seven sessions:
- Future as evolution. Strategic choice or natural development of sector.
- Upgrade technologies in providing competitiveness of postal operator.
- Future as transformation. To imagine and understand principles and processes of transformation.
- Future as revolution. Break in tradition on postal principles of management and business models.
- Postal operator as reliable business partner.
- Conference the Regional Cooperation in Communication (RCC) 'Future development of post' to sum up the forum.
Presentation of Azerbaijan is scheduled for the 21st of June during the Conference RCC 'Future Development of Post'.
Mammadov will make a speech on the Electron aspect. New technologies as means for development of modern services.
The presentation includes information on electron money posting and computerization implemented by joint project of the World Bank 'Development of finance service', attached to modernization of the Azerbaijani postal network.
Some 250 delegates from twenty-five countries will attend the forum.
Together with the delegation headed by Eduard Dayan , the Director General of the World Postal Union, the Association of Europe Postal operators 'Post Europe' , the Secretary General, Nuridin Muhidinov , the Director General of Executive Committee of the Regional Community in Communication will attend the forum.
The exhibition of modern equipments, used currently within the postal sector will be held in the forum.
Some thirty companies will demonstrate their technology, finance and bank decisions for post.
The 'Postal Three' forum has been held every two years.
