Inflation in Kazakhstan hit 0.1 percent in July 2014, Kazakh Statistics Agency reported on July 1.
Prices for non-food goods and services rose by 0.3 percent, food products - fell by 0.2 percent in the reporting period.
The average price for poultry meat increased by 4.3 percent, eggs - 4.2 percent, rice - 3.8 percent, sugar - 2.6 percent, flour - 2.2 percent, tea - 1.7 percent, oat groats - 1.6 percent, soft drinks - 1.2 percent, bakeries and pastry - 1.1 percent, conserved milk - 1 percent, semolina, sausage , meat products - 0.9 percent, confectionery products - 0.8 percent, bread, pasta, rennet cheese - 0.7 percent, butter, spread - 0.6 percent, fish and seafood - 0.4 percent, dairy products - 0.3 percent.
Meanwhile price for potatoes fell by 19.9 percent, fresh vegetables - 7.8 percent, fresh fruits - 1.6 percent, raw milk - 0.6 percent, sunflower oil - by 0.4 percent.
Pharmaceutical products rose in prices by 1.1 percent, household goods - by 0.4 percent, cloths and footwear, detergents and cleaning products, goods for private use and household appliances - by 0.3 percent.
The prices for postal services increased by 2.4 percent, maintenance and repair of dwellings - 1.2 percent, restaurants' and hotels' services - 1.1 percent, hairdressing services - by 0.7 percent, long-distances passenger transportation by rail and coaches - by 0.4 percent.
The tariffs for gas transported through the distribution network increased by 2.8 percent, hot water - 0.3 percent, garbage disposal - by 0.2 percent.
