A case against former leader of the Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan will be brought to trial. This has been informed by the PCK Ex-Chairman Iskhak Masaliev himself Monday at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.

According to him, last week the representatives of the party met with Head of the State National Security Council Keneshbek Dushebaev. He stated that the authorities do not intend to close the criminal case against Iskhak Masaliev, and soon it would be brought to trial.

According to estimates of the politician, it will happen in the middle of August. The PCK Ex-Chairman himself and his colleagues think that the case has been fabricated.

"Over the last two months, I was questioned only once, there were no any identification parades," he informed. I am now planning to defend my civil rights. Though as a former officer of militia...it is ridiculous how the criminal case and court may be. There is nothing to see there, only one protocol of interrogation. The case against me has been manufactured by political motives."

Iskhak Masaliev noted that in view of the criminal case and the forthcoming process, he will not be included in the list of candidates from the PCK and any other party.
