BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Turkmenistan’s Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank has become the market leader in the number of POS terminals, Trend reports with reference to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Dayhanbank has 9,211 POS terminals as of June 1, 2022.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank ranks second in this indicator with 7,854 terminals, and the Halkbank State Commercial Bank closes the top 3 with 7,852 terminals.
At the same time, Dayhanbank POS-terminals are located mainly in the regions of Turkmenistan. Thus, most of the bank's terminals are located in the Lebap (2,509), Mary (2,119) and Dashoguz (1,738) regions.
The other two ranking leaders, Turkmenistan and Halkbank, have most of their POS terminals located in Ashgabat - 3,240 and 2,317, respectively.
