(www.cihannews.com) вЂ" Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul is representing Turkey at the NATO Defense Ministers meeting held in Spain.
Gonul, along with a Turkish delegation, arrived in Spain on Wednesday to attend the two-day meeting devoted to Afghanistan and Kosovo, reports Trend.
NATO defense ministers gathered on Thursday in southern city of Seville for two-day of informal talks.
During the meeting, the US is expected to call up more troops for NATO forces in Afghanistan to counter possible Taliban offensive.
Minister Gonul and the accompanying Turkish delegation will return home on Saturday.
