French company Air Liquide is interested in providing industrial gas to units in Iran's Chabahar port, IRNA news agency reported October 5.
The company's managers expressed readiness for such a cooperation during their visit to the port. The issue was discussed with Iranian officials.
The sides talked over the building of an oxygen production unit and providing gas for steel and petrochemical units in the free zone of the Chabahar Port.
Over 100 foreign delegations have visited Chabahar Port to seek investment opportunities in the wake of the implementation of Iran’s nuclear deal in January.
Iran plans to build several steel factories and petrochemical firms in the area, which, thanks to its access to the Indian Ocean, will make a trade hub for the area.
