The price of one gram of the 18-karat gold increased by 0.29 percent over the last Iranian week to stand at 1,270,450 rials (about $30.92) on the weekend.
In the meantime, the price of Bahar-e Azadi (Spring of Liberty) gold coin added 0.82 percent.
The data available on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union shows that the gold coin was traded at 13,410,000 rials ($329.4 according to the currency rate in free market on the same day) in the beginning of the Iranian week on Saturday.
However, Bahar-e Azadi was valued at 13,520,000 rials ($329) in the end of the Iranian week.
Meanwhile, the value of the US dollar against Iranian rial in the free market increased by 0.76 percent to post 41,078 rials on Thursday.
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of the US dollar at 35,235 rials on Thursday, an increase of 0.01 percent compared to Saturday.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro gained 0.44 percent to rest at 48,392 rials on the weekend. The official rate of euro increased by 0.46 percent to stand at 41,704 rials.
