Public budget of Azerbaijan (January-February 2016)

According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the Azerbaijani state budget revenues amounted to 1.350 billion manat in January 2016. The state budget expenditures hit 516.4 million manat. The surplus of the budget totaled 833.2 million manat or 20.8 percent of GDP.

Some 26.8 percent of the state budget revenues account for value added tax, 10.7 percent - income tax of legal entities, 12.8 percent - income tax of physical entities, 2.9 percent - excise tax, 7.4 percent - other taxes, 39.4 percent of revenues achieved through the non-tax revenues.

Some 2.7 percent was directed to finance the development and regulation of the economy, 39.5 percent - social protection and security, 5.3 percent - education, 1.5 percent - health sector, 51 percent of the budgetary funds - other areas.
