Georgia, Tbilisi, 27 October / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Georgian President dismissed Prime Minister Vladimir Gurgenidze. According to Rustavi 2 broadcasting company, President Mikheil Saakashvili made the statement at the meeting with the parliamentary majority MPs.
Saakashvili intends to promote Grigol Mgaloblishvili, 35, who is Georgia's Ambassador to Turkey, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the post.
Mgaloblishvili will be charged to form a new government and to present it to the parliament for approval.
