Minister of Economy Giorgi Kvirikashvili will be appointed to the post of first Deputy Prime Minister of the Georgian government. His candidacy was presented by Georgia's Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili during a governmental meeting on Friday.
Kvirikashvili replaced Giorgi Margvelashvili , who left the posts of Education Minister and first Deputy Prime Minister of the Georgian government after having been nominated to run for president by the ruling "Georgian Dream" coalition.
