Australia has lost
its sixth soldier in Afghanistan since 2002 and the second this year, the
Defence Force said Wednesday.
Sean McCarthy, 25, from the Perth-based Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) was
killed Monday by a roadside bomb, which injured two other servicemen.
Australia has 1,000 soldiers serving in Afghanistan's Oruzgan province, dpa reported.
