14 health centers completed in Afghanistan

The Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) has completed the work for construction of 14 health centers in the war-torn Afghanistan and handed over the keys to the Afghan government, a local newspaper reported Thursday.
  
"These clinics have been completed with 3 million U.S. dollars provided by OIC and Atta Manan Al-Bakhit, the Deputy to Secretary General of OIC, handed over the keys of 14 health clinics to Afghan Minister for Public Health Syed Mohammad Amin Fatimi on Wednesday," daily Arman-e- Millie said, Xinhua reported.
  
The OIC official further assured of contributing 15 million more U.S. dollars for the reconstruction process of Afghanistan, mostly in health sector.
  
According to the newspaper, OIC has constructed 40 health centers in the war-torn Afghanistan over the past four years.
