Shooting has erupted near the Porte de Chatillon, on the outskirts of Paris on Jan.8 in the morning, RIA Novosti reported citing RTL Radio.
Reportedly, one police officer has been seriously injured as a result of the shooting.
Other details of the incident are being determined.
This is the second case in France in two days. Three gunmen attacked the office of satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris killing 12 people and injuring 11 on Jan.7. The attackers managed to flee.
