There have been countless mistakes made by the Western leaders in recent years, Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of Azerbaijani presidential administration, chief of the administration's foreign relations department said in a tweet Oct. 26.

His remarks come after Britain's former prime minister, Tony Blair apologized during an interview with CNN for his role in the start of operation in Iraq in 2003.

Blair admitted that false intelligence data was used when deciding to start Iraq's invasion.

"Blair reportedly apologized for his "mistake." Yet this is neither the first nor the last "mistake." "Mistakes" graver than this one were made," Mammadov said in a tweet.

"The very mistakes, made deliberately, put the world in a present situation," Mammadov further said.
