Karaganda cement plant, which is a largest cement industry enterprise in Kazakhstan, will get a credit line in the amount of 1 billion tenges (318.4 tenges = $1) from VTB Bank Kazakhstan, the bank said in a message May 11.
The Bank and Karcement JSC, which owns the cement plant, signed a corresponding agreement within the state program aimed at the development of domestic producers.
The credit line will finance production growth at the plant.
Karaganda cement plant is operating since 1953. The raw materials for cement production (limestone, clay, slag, gypsum, iron ore) are extracted nearby.
The plant produces high-quality products of M500 brand. The designed capacity is 3.6 million tons per year.
