The prices for diesel fuel will increase in Kazakhstan from May, Assylbek Duisebayev, deputy chairman of the country's Natural Monopolies Regulation Agency (NMRA) said on April 30, at a press conference in Astana.
"The prices for gasoline are not expected to increase, while the diesel fuel will go up from May," NMRA deputy chairman said.
Duisebayev went on to add that today, the NMRA experts will decide on how much the prices for diesel fuel will increase.
He recalled that the pricing is done in accordance with the special formula, in which the result depends on the world prices for a barrel of oil at the moment.
