The upcoming visit of the German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Tbilisi is a manifestation of political support and solidarity with Georgia, the spokesperson of Georgia's Foreign Ministry David Kereselidze told reporters Dec. 8.
"We see this visit as a political support and solidarity with Georgia," Kereselidze said, adding, "During the visit, the German FM will meet with Georgian president, prime minister, foreign minister and parliament chairman."
Steinmeier will arrive in Tbilisi on Dec. 8 for a two-day visit.
This is Steinmeier's second visit to Georgia this year. In April, he visited the country together with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius.
