The ICT sector's growth rate in Azerbaijan has increased by 12.4 percent in January-September and reached 932.9 million manat, the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry said on Wednesday.
The growth rate for the telecommunications sector during the reporting period has hit 8.3 percent.
Some 76 percent of the revenues accounted for share of private communication enterprises.
The volume of the ICT sector and postal services revenues in the Azerbaijani GDP in January-September hit 1.7 percent, while revenues in this sector in the non-oil sector GDP hit 3.6 percent.
