Some 2, 618,691 sq. m. of area was cleared from mines and unexploded ammunition in November, 2009.
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) revealed and detonated 26, 395 unexploded ammunition and mines in this territory, the ANAMA told Trend .
Some 425 specialists, 115 assistant staff, 6 mechanized mine clearing cars and 30 mine detector dogs took part in it.
So far, 118, 320, 758 sq. m. of area was demined and 530,787 unexploded ammunitions were detonated.
The ANAMA carries out demining in Tartar, Agdam, Fuzuli, Agstafa and Tovuz regions of Azerbaijan and in Garadagh region of Baku.
In November, no case of mine/unexploded ammunition was fixed.
