Date of the next consultations among the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is still to be defined, a group on Nagorno-Karabakh at the Russian Foreign Ministry told Trend.
The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs from the United States, France and Russia came out with a communiquГ© on the results of Paris talks between the President of Azerbaijan and Armenia on 10-11 February. The consultations to be held in Washington early this March will consider different aspects of future discussions on Karabakh conflict between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers, the document notes.
A meeting of the mediators Russian Ambassador Yuriy Merzlyakov, US Ambassador Steven Mann and Bernard Facie was scheduled for the second week of March, while exact date of the talks will be determined soon.
Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, said that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs intend to hold exchange of opinions on the current stage of talks and after appeal to sides. So, they can propose the organization of a meeting on the level of Foreign Ministers, or a tour of the region, the minister underlined.
