Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Ramazanova / Ismayl Isakov, the Defence Minister of Kyrgyzstan, and Safar Abiyev, the Azerbaijani Defence Minister, signed a plan on bilateral military cooperation in 2008, the Kyrgyz press reported.
Both Ministers signed a protocol on military training of Kyrgyz military in Azerbaijan.
Abiyev visited the military lycee, Bishkek High Military School and military units within the framework of his visit to Kyrgyzstan.
Abiyev will meet with Marat Sultanov, the Speaker of Kyrgyzstan and Almazbay Atambayev, the Prime Minister on 17 October.
