Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 22 October, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received special envoy of the King of Jordan to the Central Asia and Azerbaijan Abdullah Wureikati. President Ilham Aliyev said Jordan-Azerbaijan bilateral relations are successfully developing, and stressed a special role of the reciprocal visits of the Heads of State in expanding bilateral ties. Azerbaijani Leader pointed out he had had very fruitful talks with King Abdullah II. The President said he agreed with the King of Jordan to hold a business forum. According to him, such events will help develop bilateral relations. Special envoy offered King Abdullah's greetings and Azerbaijan Independence Day congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev. He said, "His Highness King Abdullah considers you his close friend and brother". He said the Amman-Baku direct flight is expected to be launched in the near future. President Ilham Aliyev, in his turn, asked the envoy to convey his greetings to the Jordanian Leader.
