Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli / Khanlar Mammadov, who committed murder in the 209th area of Sabail District of Baku was detained in Ganja City, Azerbaijan, on 21 November.
According to the Sabail District Prosecutor's Office, an armed man entered the Police Office 8, shot Imdad Nazarov, a police officer, and killed Muslum Jabrayilov, a real estate broker. He then made his way to the house of another district police officer, Zakir Sadigov, where he then shot the officer and his wife. Sadigov who later died at the scene of the incident, was able to identify the gunman as his relative, Khanlar Mammadov.
A criminal case has been filed on this matter and the motive for the crime is being investigated. Mammadov was later sent to Baku whilst the investigation is being launched and the Makarov gun has been confiscated.
