According to a spokesman for the Prosecutor General's Office, Vugar Aliyev, as a result of an operation carried out by the employees of the Corruption Department at the Public Prosecutor's Office and the National Defence Ministry, the chair of the municipality of Rasulzade settlement in Baku Majnun Aliyev, the head of the general service department at the municipality Aydin Ismayilov, and a member of the municipality Nizami Azizov were detained.
They were detained while taking a bribe for allotting a lot of land on behalf of someone whose name is being kept a secret. A criminal case was filed into the case.
