Huseynli/ During the recent four years, the number of calculated homicides cases in Azerbaijan has decreased considerably, MG Emin Shekinski, the head of Central Criminal Investigation Department at the Interior Ministry, stated at the ministerial meeting on 1 April.
In 2004-2007, 875 people- who committed calculated homicides were revealed, 194 people in search were arrested, as well as 78 criminal groups including a total of 230 people were disclosed.
According to Shekinski, during the recent four years 87% of the calculated homicides cases have been solved. In 2007, the figure was 91.4%. The Central Criminal Investigation Department considered over 500 investigation cases on calculated homicides.
