Draft Law on Young Families to be Developed in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 May / Trend corr. I.Alizade / A draft law related to the young families is being developed in the Azerbaijani Parliament. "The draft law provides security for young families and a quota for young people," Khadi Rajabli, Chairman of the standing Parliamentary Commission on Social policy, stated to journalists on 6 may.

Rajabli noted that at present the key problem that that young families face is the scarcity of apartments and jobs.

"Low social status of the families forces the parents to leave their children in orphanages, as well as many internal conflicts. We can settle several of these problems by passing this draft law," Rajabli stated.
