The Romanian President Trajan Basescu's official visit to Turkmenistan was scheduled for July 21-22, official Turkmen sources said.
Turkmen leadership expects that this visit will give new impulse to traditional friendly relations of both nations, as well as further development to fruitful dialogue of Turkmenistan with EU countries by acquiring new dynamics.
Solid package of the inter-governmental documents was signed between countries within the Turkmen President's visit to Romania in summer 2008. These documents envisage cooperation in trade-economic and scientific-technical spheres, investments, education, as well as foreign ministries.
Turkmenistan will accelerate constructive dialogue with its traditional and new partners by striving to realize its huge natural potential for the sake of common wealth, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov said at the last governmental meeting.
