A special show of "the formula of power," dedicated to the results of the outgoing 2009 was broadcasted on Russian TV channel RTR on Saturday.
The author and presenter of the "Formula of power" is the first deputy director general of ITAR-TASS Mikhail Gusman.
The program said about the traditions of New Year celebrations in different world countries. Azerbaijani national holiday Novruz holiday was also mentioned.
Mikhail Gusman said Novruz holiday is the most respected Azerbaijani holiday. "Novruz holiday is Vernal Equinox. It means a new year on the Persian calendar. Novruz is a family holiday. Everybody prepare for it beforehand. Azerbaijani people plant trees, sew new clothes, and prepare national dishes," he said.
This program of "the formula of power" presented the audience a fragment of an interview with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who spoke about the traditions and family values of the country.
"Certainly, family values for each people are very important. As you noted, it is not a secret in Azerbaijan that they are a priority because it is the foundation of the society, the nation, the future", Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.
"Our family is not an exception. There are a lot of such families in Azerbaijan. Family values and relationships are based on these traditional forms of mutual respect, love and prosperity.
I am very happy I have such a family," the president said.
"The formula of power" is an unprecedented project. It is a unique television project in the world.
It has a lot of interviews with presidents. The originality of "the formula of power" is that its creators consider "human discovery" of the leaders of the world countries the main task. The talks are held with them in an informal atmosphere and on very personal topics.
