Turkmen president: Upcoming Paris talks will give impetus to French-Turkmen relations

The upcoming Paris bilateral talks will give a "new and powerful impetus to inter-state relations in political, economic and cultural spheres growing stronger year by year," Turkmen President Turkmenistan Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov said at a meeting with French Ambassador Pierre Lebovich.
Berdimuhammedov plans to make his first official visit to France in the near future. The diplomat said "France looks forward to Berdimuhammedov's visit, which was associated with great hopes for further successful development in these years of productive cooperation," a Turkmen governmental press service reported.
According to the official, the French company will be able to take part in new joint projects in the future, making a worthy contribution to the development and prosperity of Turkmenistan.
The president emphasized that Turkmenistan respects France as one of the leading countries in Europe and the world, disposing political weight and solid economic potential.
