Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Monday Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak and his accompanying delegation, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The Head of State expressed hope Lajcak`s visit to Azerbaijan would be successful and open up new avenues for effective cooperation in a variety of fields. The Azerbaijani Leader noted there is huge potential and interest of both sides to achieve it. He expressed confidence that meetings to be held during the visit would be effective for outlining major areas for development of bilateral relations.
Slovak FM pointed out Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries in terms of politics, economy and energy. He said Azerbaijani President`s views on the regional processes are important for Slovakia
Lajcak noted the main aim of the visit is to intensify bilateral relationship. He expressed satisfaction with the level of political ties between the two countries.
