The Azerbaijani Parliament has fulfilled all the legislative work planned for the spring session, Parliamentary Vice-Speaker Bahar Muradova said at the news conference on the results of the spring session.
"The parliament adopted 81 bills and decision at its 11 meetings and 39 laws and decisions - at its three extraordinary meetings," Muradov said.
She said the parliamentary committees had a fruitful work during the spring session. The committees discussed 124 issues at 82 meetings.
Muradova highlighted the changes and additions to the electoral code of Azerbaijan, which serves to strengthening of democracy in the country, as well as military doctrine among the adopted documents.
"During the past session, the parliament received 2,691 proposals, appeals and complaints. The parliamentarians received 2,861 citizens, which demonstrates the openness of the parliament to the public," Muradova said.
