Members of Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), who are on visit to Azerbaijan, met with members of the Turkish-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary working group on July 28, the website of the Azerbaijani Parliament reported.
At the meeting was noted the role of parliaments in further developing and strengthening ties between two countries, activities of the working groups, the importance of the speeches of the MPs of the two countries in international organizations with a single position on issues of importance to both nations and states.
Head of the Azerbaijani-Turkish inter-parliamentary friendship group of Azerbaijan Parliament Nizami Jafarov, the head of the Turkish-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group Mustafa Kabakchi and other MPs exchanged their views on the development of relations between the two countries.
