Georgian Foreign Ministry expressed deep sorrow over the numerous victims among the population of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan as a result of severe flooding, the Georgia Foreign Ministry's statement says.
"On behalf of the Government and Georgian people, Georgian Foreign Ministry offers condolences to families of victims," the Georgia Foreign Ministry's statement says.
The number of victims of the floods caused by monsoon rains may reach 1,500 people. The total number of victims exceeds three million: almost half of them are children and adolescents less than 18 years. More than 980,000 Pakistanis lost their homes.
