Azerbaijan and Grenada signed a communique on establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.

Azerbaijan and Grenada signed a communique on establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and his Grenadian Counterpart Peter David signed a 'Joint communique on establishing diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Grenada' in New York on Sept.23 as part of the 65th UN General Assembly session.

Mammadyarov informed David about the economic situation in the country, as well as the country's energy policy. The sides discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation.

Moreover, Mammadyarov met with Croatian Foreign and European Integration Minister Gordan Jandrokovic. The ministers discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation.
