Azerbaijani opposition Musavat party intends to strengthen cooperation with international organizations. The decision was taken at the meeting of the party's Council Oct.18, the party said.

The party's chairman said that he met with the head of the OSCE PA Observation Mission. After the discussions held based on this information, it was decided to further strengthen cooperation with international organizations, including requiring them to have an objective and fair attitude towards the forthcoming parliamentary elections.

The Council's meeting discussed done works, intra-party issues, as well as the parliamentary elections and social and political situation.

Musavat Party was established in October 1911 in Baku. In 1920, after the occupation of Azerbaijan by the Red Army, "Musavat" ceased its activity. The third restoration congress of the Musavat Party was held November 7, 1992 at the Palace "Republic" in Baku.
