Gali will host the next meeting of the working group on the prevention of incidents and mechanisms on Jan. 31, Georgian Foreign Ministry Analytical Department head Shota Utiashvili told Trend today.

The meeting will address security, human rights, the movement of citizens and crime.

"We intend to discuss the issue of transferring to Georgia two Gali residents, who participated in attacks on Georgian territory, as well as the interrogation of Russian officer Evgeny Borisov, who was involved in organizing the attacks," Utiashvili said.

The meeting will be attended by representatives from Georgia, Russia and de facto Abkhazia, U.N. representative Anti Turinen and EU representative Hans Jorg Haber.

This will be the first such meeting in 2011.
