Tbilisi to host political talks between Georgia and Germany

German Foreign Ministry representative for the Caucasus, Dr. Patricia Flor will hold political consultations in Tbilisi on Wednesday, German Embassy in Georgia told Trend.

Political consultations between the two countries are held for the third time and this year the consultations from the German side will be chaired by Flor.

Political consultations envisage discussion of the wide range of Georgia-Germany relations.

The talks will touch security issues, the process of approximation with the EU, the situation in conflict regions and domestic political processes.

Flor will also hold different political meetings, including with the Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze.

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said, "Georgia has busy work schedule with Germany while commenting on the consultations.

"The question will not only touch bilateral relations. We use this format to discuss political issues," she stressed.
