Azerbaijani MPs will observe the presidential elections to be held in Georgia on October 27, message of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (parliament) said on Friday.
MPs Ganira Pashayeva, Rasim Musabeyov and Ilham Aliyev will observe the election as the observers of Azerbaijan's Parliament. Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Environment Elton Mammadov and MP Mirkazim Kazimov will observe the election through GUAM PA, while MP Azay Guliyev will participate in the observations through the OSCE PA.
Azerbaijani MPs first will familiarize themselves with the preparations for the election. On voting day, the MPs will observe elections at various polling stations in the Georgian capital, as well as voter turnout and respect for the democratic requirements of the electoral process.
