Moldova plans to open its embassy in Azerbaijan, a diplomatic source told Trend.
The issue of the opening of the embassy in Baku was discussed during the official visit of Vladimir Voronin, the President of Moldova, to Azerbaijan from 26 to 27 October 2004 and the visit of Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, to Kishinev. The government of Moldova is currently considering the issues of opening of the embassy.
Talat Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine and Belorus, also executes the function of the Ambassador to Moldova. Following the completion of his mission Isfandiyar Vahabzada succeed in this post.
